Pawpaws (Asimina triloba) are a delicious North American fruit. However, bees don't visit these strange little maroon-colored flowers...flies do! And I tend to have a shortage of flies in my garden this early in the year, so in order to get good fruit-set, I need to pollinate them by hand, with a paintbrush.
